IPO – Als Startup an die Börse

A start with many emotions. One last time Christian Hoppe stands on the #BetweentheTowers stage and opens the evening. However, this time everything is different. He welcomes the community, the new CEO of the main incubator Michael Spitz and hands over the micro. With his team in the back, it is quickly noticeable: #DerMannOhneTwitter will be missed by the scene and us!

Michael Spitz sends thanks to his predecessor and starts the evening. He then left the word to Christopher Schmitz, who presented the EY Startup Academy.

Our keynote on "IPO - as a startup to the stock market" by Benjamin Bilski of the NAGA GROUP AG, attracted numerous FinTech friends to come to the Campus Westend of the Goethe University. Nobody wanted to miss the story of the remarkable stock market exchange within 21 months. The NAGA Group employs more than 140 people, has two holdings (SwipeStox and SWITEX), and its main focus is on growth. On July 10, 2017, the stock exchange was floated and the result was groundbreaking, as the issue price of the stock increased sixfold by the end of the day.

Following this, Nathalie Augustin and Oliver Mahr of Deutsche Börse presented the "Deutsche Börse Venture Network - Europe's leading platform for growth financing" as a pre-IPO platform.

With Triple-F the BTT pitch round started. The start was made by fino.digital. Finprove and Finlex followed.

Between the Towers takes up the cause of #Supportinglocals. For this reason, the local food startup Fruit Sisters accompanied the whole evening with fresh fruit and delicious smoothies.

We say thank you, wish you a nice holiday on October 3rd and until next time! Then on October 10th 2017.
